LONELY KIDS CLUB x MOVING DIFFERENT FESTIVAL
MOVING DIFFERENT Festival is one of the fastest growing community driven, and independently curated, DIY, music and arts festivals on Gadigal country, developed and cutated by local Experimental Punk outfit smallways. With live music from 20 Australian emerging acts, across 3 stages, this event is a celebration of the inclusivity, diversity, and creativity that defines the Australian Music Scene, with a focus punk, rock and electronic music for 2026. MOVING DIFFERENT Festival is a bi-annual effort to support, strengthen, and connect the local Gadigal music, arts and creative scene more broadly. This event brings musicians, photographers, videographers, local artists, tattoo artists, creatives and lovers of the arts together, for an energetic and action packed day. Proudly funded by Sound NSW
smallways recently released a song called "SAME" and it's about us all being one, and the challenges that, that in itself brings. It's a conflict with being the same, and humans being quite disconnected, in wanting to be different. "MOVING DIFFERENT" and "WE'RE ALL THE SAME" feels like it works as a kind of oxymoron, which represents all of what we do with our music, art, and in everything we do.

Most of our products are sourced through AS Colour and other ethical suppliers who we chose specifically because of their high quality products and transparent ethical processes. You can read more about our ethical clothing approach, our slow fashion production model and how our garments are printed in Sydney.
Each garment is printed to order in Sydney using ethically sourced garments as part of our slow fashion production model rather than mass produced in large quantities. This allows us to reduce waste and maintain a more responsible production approach.
Some of the social responsibility measures we take include:
- Transparency around production and promotion of fair, healthy, and safe practices.
- Partnership with The Better Cotton Initiative.
- Responsibly sourcing materials and ensuring ethical practices are maintained throughout our supply chain.
All by-products of the printing process are either reused or recycled. We have removed nearly all plastic from our supply chain. Our ink cartridges are reused. All of our cardboard is recycled and we work with a supplier in Western Sydney who breaks down the components of our leftover ink into environmentally friendly nutrients to enrich soil.
