It was a personal experience where clothing was made specifically for the person, but this experience has now changed somewhat …

Brands now mass produce goods so they can sell faster to more people, making it less personal and a removed experience.

Then brands realized they could mass produce these goods a lot cheaper in sweatshop conditions.

They also discovered they can make more money with a reduced investment in clothing, and more funds placed in corporate costs.

Today, it’s reached the point where brands ship pre-made goods without any involvement in the design or creative process.

We’ve lost touch with what clothing should be, and what it can be. So we decided to do something about this.

At Lonely Kids Club we design, draft and concept all our goods from scratch in Sydney. We also make all our clothing ethically.
