If you've ever wanted to learn about all the ins and outs of LKC, you've come to the right place!
Lonely Kids Club is an independent Australian clothing brand based in Sydney, founded in 2011. We design, print, pack and ship our garments from our Sydney studio using a print to order model built around lower waste, local production and a strong point of view.
Lonely Kids Club started in Sydney in 2011 and has grown as an independent brand without outside ownership. That independence shapes how the business works. We print to order instead of mass producing, keep niche designs available instead of forcing short trend cycles, and build the range around ideas, artwork and long term wearability rather than excess stock.
Every garment is printed when it is ordered on ethically sourced blanks, primarily AS Colour, then packed and shipped from our Sydney studio. That production model sits at the centre of how we think about ethical clothing, slow fashion and lower waste manufacturing in Australia.
The brand is known for graphic clothing, artist collaborations, mental health positive messaging and an approach to design that values originality over generic mass market output. The pages below explain how Lonely Kids Club works in practice, from local printing and garment production to brand values, mental health messaging and the role of slow fashion in the business.
