Well, somehow we did it. Lonely Kids Club has made it to 15 years. It's basically Lonely Teens Club now. But yeah that genuinely feels wild, and we 100% wouldn’t still be here without you all.
From the early days we’ve always tried to keep things as personal and accessible as possible. You’re not dealing with some giant faceless brand. It’s just a few of us in a studio making things, answering messages, packing orders and trying to create stuff we think you’ll actually like. 15 years ago the whole brand was just myself and a few boxes in my bedroom. A lot has changed, but some things never will. We’ve always tried to stay connected and we still love speaking one on one with our audience.
Over time that’s also meant we’ve made a lot of genuine friendships through LKC. If you’re reading this there’s a good chance you’ve been part of that in some way, and we’re incredibly grateful for it.
A great example of that is the LKCC request events (sometimes I call them the “Create Your Own T Shirt” events). We actually just ran our longest one ever for a full week, and it was such a good reminder of how fun it is getting to make things together with you all.
Below are some of my favourite ideas from this week and since we started doing these events.
And yeah as always, thanks for everything. It genuinely means a lot to still continue this journey with you.
