Original graphic t-shirts by Lonely Kids Club and the independent artists we collaborate with, printed to order in our Sydney studio. We are an independent Australian clothing brand founded in 2011. This is our main graphic tee collection, covering artwork, internet jokes, Australian wildlife, pop culture and mental health positive designs.
The artists behind the range include our in-house illustrator Claire Harrison, founder Warwick Levy and collaborators in Australia and overseas. Individual product pages credit the artist and explain the design. Read more about our independent brand and artist collaborations.
For jokes and internet references, browse our funny t-shirts. For local wildlife and Australian humour, try Australiana or our bird t-shirts. There are also mental health positive designs, anime-inspired tees and pop culture t-shirts.
If you want to start with a few named designs, How Good Is Bread is Warwick's handwritten appreciation of carbs, Get In The Van is Claire's Healthy Harold nostalgia joke, and Clive The Cyclist features Kayla Reay's coloured-pencil magpie artwork.
Explore art t-shirts by independent artists and movie and TV designs for more specific interests. To compare a worn-in garment finish, see the Vintage Tee fit guide; availability is shown on individual product listings.
Choose the shape you like rather than shopping by gender. Many designs come in several fits, but colours and sizes vary by design and cut:
Our tee fit guide compares the cuts with measurements and photos of the team wearing them. Measure a favourite tee laid flat and compare it with the chart for the fit you are buying. An oversized tee is already cut wider; changing the letter size on a regular tee is a different choice.
Many designs offer 4XL and 5XL in Regular or Oversized fits. Availability depends on the selected colour and cut, so use the size options on the product page and check its measurements in centimetres. Letter sizes vary between brands; the actual chest width and body length are more useful than a claimed size equivalent.
Our regular tees use 180 GSM combed cotton blanks, while the Classic Oversized tee uses heavier 220 GSM cotton. Marle colours can contain polyester, and other fits have their own specifications. Check the product details for the version you choose.
We print using direct-to-garment printing and water-based inks in Sydney. Printing after an order is placed reduces the need to pre-print large batches of every design; the blank garments themselves are made overseas. Our ethics page explains garment sourcing and printing, and our charity collection identifies designs supporting particular causes. Donation commitments are stated on those product pages.
We print to order in our Sydney studio. Allow up to seven business days before a standard printed order is dispatched, then delivery time. Australian standard delivery generally takes 2–7 business days after dispatch; express generally takes 1–3. Custom artwork takes longer. Check our current production and shipping information before ordering for a particular date.
Standard Australian shipping is free on orders over A$85. Our 100-day returns policy covers eligible unwashed, unworn items, with the conditions and exceptions listed there.
Yes. We print graphic tees to order in our Sydney studio using direct-to-garment printing and water-based inks. The blank garments are made overseas; printed in Sydney describes the decoration stage, not the entire garment manufacture. Lonely Kids Club was founded in Sydney in 2011.
Our Regular Tee uses 180 GSM combed cotton; marle colours can contain polyester. The AS Colour 5069 Classic Oversized tee uses heavier 220 GSM combed cotton. Other cuts have their own specifications, so check the selected garment rather than applying one fabric claim to every fit.
Most designs come in five fits. Regular is our staple cut, roomy through the shoulders and a little longer in the body, in XS to 5XL. Maple is the fitted cut, shorter in the sleeve and body, in XS to 3XL. Oversized Tee is a wide, boxy, drop shoulder cut in S to 5XL. Crop Top is boxy and cut at mid waist, in XS to 2XL. Long Sleeve has cuffed wrists and runs up to 3XL. Every product page has a fit guide, a size chart in centimetres and photos of our team wearing each size. You'll see them above the fit and size selections.
Measure a tee you like laid flat across the chest and from shoulder to hem, then compare it with the chart for your chosen fit. Measurements can vary by up to 2.5 cm. Available colours and sizes vary by design and cut; letter sizes from another retailer are not an exact equivalent.
Everything we make is gender neutral and always has been. There are no men's and women's sections, just different cuts so you can choose the shape you like. Regular and Oversized are the roomier cuts, Maple is the fitted one, and the Crop Top is exactly what it sounds like. Same designs, same sizes, for everyone.
Thousands of them, all original. Memes and internet culture, pop culture from an indie angle rather than licensed franchise merch, Australiana (magpies, ibises, bin chickens and everything else that swoops), mental health positive slogans, feminist and queer designs, Aussie politics, animals from sloths to frogs, food, nostalgia, video games and anime, spooky stuff, and a rude corner for the family member who needs it. Plus collaborations with independent artists from Australia and overseas.
People, not software. A lot of the range is drawn in house by Claire Harrison and by founder Warwick Levy, who still draws for the brand, alongside long running collaborators like Oleg, who has over 100 designs from his studio in Ukraine, Bridget Farmer, Pepe Rodriguez, HimawariKeep and many more. Every collaboration is an official partnership and the artist is supported on every sale. We do not use AI art.
We print after an order is placed, which reduces the need for pre-printed batches of every design. Our ethics page explains garment sourcing, inks and local printing, including the distinction between overseas-made blanks and Sydney printing. Specific charity commitments are stated on the relevant product pages.
Because every tee is printed when you order it, allow up to seven business days for printing before it ships from Sydney. Australian orders then travel with AusPost: standard usually takes 2 to 7 business days and express 1 to 3. Standard shipping is free on Australian orders over $85, otherwise $8.50, and express is a flat $15. Sydney locals can choose pick up from our Artarmon studio at checkout. International orders go with Australia Post International, standard or express.
Our 100-day returns policy covers eligible unwashed, unworn items for an exchange, store credit or refund. Read the returns page for conditions and exceptions, including marked final-sale items and conditions for worn hats and socks.
Wash inside out on a cold or gentle cycle with mild detergent, line dry or tumble on low, and do not iron over the print. Hot washes and aggressive tumble drying are the main reason any direct to garment print fades early. Looked after, the print will outlast your interest in the joke.
