A bird T-shirt is easier to choose when you know which bird the person actually likes. Some of us are here for cockatoos, some for magpies, and some have never met a bin chicken they would not defend. Start with the species, then decide whether you want an artist’s illustration or a bird joke.

Funny magpie T-shirts
For a bird with attitude, Claire Harrison’s Chosen Violence, Springtime Magic and Swoopy Boy are starting points. For a different artistic direction, Magnificent Magpie features artwork by Kirsty McIntyre. Compare the magpie range before choosing your design.
Ibis and bin chicken shirts
If their favourite bird has a reputation for stealing chips, start with I Have Binned Ibis Tee or the smaller Ibis Logo Tee design. The ibis and bin chicken collection also brings together warmer layers, hats and bags.
Lorikeets, galahs and the wider flock

Choosing a bird T-shirt as a gift
Match the design to the person: their favourite species for an enthusiastic birdwatcher, a recognisable backyard bird for a bird noticer, or a joke they already make. An artist’s bird illustration and a loud swooping-season slogan are different choices; think about what they wear on an ordinary day.
Regular or oversized: which bird tee should I choose?
Compare the tee fit guide with a garment that already fits. Regular, Maple, Crop Top, Long Sleeve and Oversized are separate cuts. The Classic Oversized tee has a boxier body and heavyweight 220 GSM cotton, while the Regular tee uses a different shape and fabric weight. Available colours and sizes vary with the design and cut.
Are there bird T-shirts for kids?
Yes. For example, compare the Swoopy Boy Kids Tee or Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos Kids Tee. Use the kids tee measurements rather than the adult fit guide, and browse the kids collection for other designs.
What if I do not know their T-shirt size?
Choose a bird tote or hat with dimensions you can check on the product page. The Bridget Farmer range includes bags and headwear as well as clothing. A gift card also lets them choose the bird, colour and cut themselves.
Printing and gift deadlines
The garment blanks are made by our suppliers, and we print the graphic artwork to order in Sydney. Allow for production as well as postage; check current production and delivery estimates if you need a gift for a particular date.
