LONELY KIDS CLUB x JVLY
JVLY is an Australian artist who makes chilled electro-R&B/Soul music that can be likened to a mix between Charlotte Day Wilson, Galimatias, Tom Misch and Rhye.
Back in 2018 he released a very impressive debut ep titled “Ache” which helped solidify his name within the global music scene and pave the way for the next phase of his career, and later that year he teamed up with Mammal Sounds Records for the release of two vibrant stand-alone singles, ‘Blue Pill’ (feat. SARAI) and ‘milk&honey’ (feat. Una Mey).
In 2019 Kayle Butler began working on his next ep, “inside weather”, and before the year was out he gave us its first single ‘tacenda’ which is currently one of his best releases to date with over 550,000 streams on Spotify alone. Over the following months he gave us a few more lead-singles – ‘me&her’, ‘monsoon’ & ‘aporia’ – as he continued the anticipation build for the ep’s release in June 2020, and it was met with much praise and attention from fans, music curators and industry peers around the world.
JVLY closed out 2020 with an exceptional single titled ‘windless’ which was a collaborative release with fellow Australian artist edapollo (and has since collected over 560,000 streams) as well as a remix of his song ‘tacenda’ which saw him working with Gold Coast trio daste. (who are also on the Mammal Sounds management roster) and is currently equal in plays to its original counterpart on Spotify.
Throughout 2021 Kayle tried to make the most of the lockdowns by taking time out to explore different sounds, song-writing styles and production techniques. He began working on his next round of music which he is getting close to sharing with us all very soon, and there’s some very exciting news on the way with that as well…

All by-products of the printing process are either reused or recycled. We have removed nearly all plastic from our supply chain. Our ink cartridges are reused. All of our cardboard is recycled and we work with a supplier in Western Sydney who breaks down the components of our leftover ink into environmentally friendly nutrients to enrich soil.
