Upload a photo of your cat, dog, bird, horse, lizard, rat, or whatever weird little friend you've got, and our in-house illustrators will hand-draw them into a custom Badly Drawn pet portrait. Printed to order in Sydney on quality cotton tees. Each one is genuinely one-of-a-kind.
Not photo-realistic. Not traced. Not AI-generated. Deliberately, lovingly, badly drawn. That's the whole point. A proper hand-drawn pet portrait with actual personality, not a Photoshop filter over a photo.
NOTE: Our software only accepts one image per item.
Please use high-res photos. Photos taken from a smartphone are fine.
Strictly one pet per t-shirt. We won't send previews of the artwork before it's printed. You'll just have to trust us.

1. Upload your pet photo — Smartphone photos are fine, just make sure it's reasonably clear and your pet is recognisable.
2. Our illustrators get to work — Your pet gets hand-drawn in the signature LKC Badly Drawn style. Not realistic. Deliberately charming.
3. Your custom pet t-shirt is printed — In our Sydney studio, printed to order, shipped to you.
What is a Badly Drawn Pet Tee?
It's a custom pet portrait t-shirt where your pet is hand-drawn in our signature scribbly, intentionally-imperfect style. Unlike photo-realistic pet shirts or AI-generated designs, every Badly Drawn pet portrait is a genuine hand-illustration by our in-house team.
How long does it take?
Standard turnaround applies since we print to order from our Sydney studio. Check your cart for current dispatch estimates.
Can I see a preview before it's printed?
No. Part of the Badly Drawn charm is the trust. Our illustrators have drawn thousands of pets. The style is what you're buying into.
Will my pet be recognisable?
Yes. Badly drawn doesn't mean unrecognisable, it means stylised. Hundreds of happy customers have had their pets drawn and received back something they instantly identified as their own furry, feathered, or scaly friend.
Is this a good gift for pet lovers?
Probably our most-gifted product. The combination of personalised (their pet) and funny (genuinely good artwork) makes it one of the strongest gift options we make. Works for dog lovers, cat people, and anyone with a weirdly-specific pet they adore.
What if I have multiple pets?
Strictly one pet per t-shirt — that's a hard rule. If you want multiple pets, order multiple tees and we'll draw each one separately.
Can I get the same design on a hoodie or other product?
Yes. We offer the Badly Drawn Pet design on hoodies as well. Same hand-drawn illustration, different garment.

Most products can be returned up to 100 days after purchase (excluded products are noted in the product description). Simply send the product back to us in the condition it was received for a new size, store credit, or a full refund.
We want to accommodate as many body shapes & sizes as possible, so we offer a variety of fits & sizing from babies all the way up to 5XL (which is very generous and equivalent to a 10XL from many other retailers).

Most of our products are sourced through AS Colour and other ethical suppliers who we chose specifically because of their high quality products and transparent ethical processes. Some of the social responsibility measures we take include:
- Transparency around production and promotion of fair, healthy, and safe practices.
- Partnership with The Better Cotton Initiative.
- Responsibly sourcing materials and ensuring ethical practices are maintained all through our supply chain.
All by-products of the printing process are either reused or recycled. We have removed nearly all plastic from our supply chain. Our ink cartridges are reused. All of our cardboard is recycled and we work with a supplier in Western Sydney who breaks down the components of our leftover ink into environmentally friendly nutrients to enrich soil.
