DUE TO STOCK ISSUES, HOODIES WILL BE SENT IN WHITE MARLE INSTEAD OF PLAIN WHITE
Note: We finally released a pullover hoodie! We ethically made really soft, comfortable, slightly baggy drawstring campus hoodies that make you feel good to wear. They have a super athletic vibe as well – as a result all the models and a bunch of people in the store have grabbed them already so these ones won’t last.
I did a construction degree for around four years before dropping out. I stayed in the course because I thought university was meant to be a continuation of school. Something that made me sad, anxious, and left me feeling isolated. With that in mind we wanted to create a campus hoodie which showed how studying can and should be.
Winston is the sloth character based on myself so based on my experiences we gave him a book called “How To Chill” and added the slogan “It’s okay to have fun” because university life should be fun. He also has his trademark smile. This is the hoodie I really wish I had when I was studying construction, but now that I’m passed that I hope it can help others in a similar situation.
For anyone struggling out there studying a degree or certificate, please consider talking to your local counsellor at your campus. They’re there to help and it’s a free provided service.
To give this print a real pop, we screen printed watercolour inks and played around with mixing the colours to give it a uniquely bright and vintage vibe with faded pink and a blue tinged green. This contrasts really nicely with the black inks used. This design is also a continuation on the vintage animation style we experimented with on our “Sloth Head” tee.
Each hoodie is screen pulled by hand here in Sydney on our comfy baggy cotton/poly blend ethically sourced hoodies.
Travis is 6 foot and wearing size L oversized. We somehow forgot to shoot Ruby wearing this one in the product photos. Sorry fam – was such a stressful few days of shooting.
