Product Details

A few years ago, I went shopping to try buy a new parka jacket. I found that all the ones I liked were about $300, made in China anyway, and I felt like rather than paying for the quality of the garment, I was just paying extra for the store space, the staff, their investors etc. I figured I could do better. I realised I could make a better quality product for half the price, hand make it in Sydney, and make my own personal touches like using burnt wooden buttons, and personally choosing my own inner-lining fabric.

Welcome to the LKC Goosebumps jacket. Readers beware, you're in for a scare.

I managed to get my hands on genuine vintage 1990's Goosebumps fabric to use as contrast hood lining as well as for an inside pocket. I've also stockpiled vintage goosebumps books, and we place one in the pocket of each jacket prior to sending. One day you'll be stuck bored on public transport and will be able to bust out a vintage Goosebumps book and become the envy of everyone around you. Plus we finished the jacket with special antique coloured buttons which give the jacket a premium finish.

As always I added the feature that you can keep your hands warm behind the front pocket. I also did an industry no-no and used a 100% cotton rayon as inner-lining instead of a polyester blend because it’s just so nice and soft to wear. Plus I’m still using 100% Australian cotton twill as outer-lining. The jacket is both functional, comfortable and features the dope Goosebumps print.

It’ll keep you warm, dry (can confirm) & when the fabric runs out it’s gone for good / will never be re-released after this season.
